youngteam - Moksha

I’m going to be honest here; I don’t even know where to start with this one. youngteam has put together something that’s one part footwork, one part juke, and one part hip hop. Maybe it’s best described as stunning, because that’s essentially what it is. Though, I’m getting ahead of myself a bit too much. Neo-jazz vibrations compromise the scrupulous refrain, courtesy of indulgent guitar harmonies and warm synth patterns. Although, at times, a tad confused, “Moksha” is self-aware and seems to take solace in it’s gorgeous complexity. Needless to say, “Moksha” is large.
