Doc Daneeka & Abigail Wyles - Tobyjug

Although emotion in the bass music scene can be expressed through properly placed clicks, triggers, and thoughtfully produced synthesis, it goes without saying that some songs necessitate and, at points, require the organic warmth of an accomplished vocalist. Keeping that in mind, we now turn to the wonderfully talented Abigail Wiles. Alone, Abigail exudes a melancholy albeit smoky seductiveness but when paired with the illustrious Doc Daneeka, their collaboration, “Tobyjug” takes on a form that approaches the transcendental.
