Gang Colours - To Repel Ghosts (Troy Gunner Remix)

What happens when you combine two of the most somber producers to emerge from 2011? Solitude filled brilliance. As a stand-alone track, Gang Colours’ “To Repel Ghosts” is a heavy work but Troy Gunner has taken the already moody masterpiece and formed it into some sort of slowed down piéce de résistance. The remix gives off a very eerie persona, in the sense that from start to finish you can easily visualize both artists simultaneously playing this, as if they were on the same stage at once. The track exploits both the producer’s finest qualities, leaving you as a listener utterly baffled. The EP is out June 4th via Brownswood Recordings.
