A.Z. & TOR - Save Our Souls (Apple Bottom’s Back2Da90’s Refix)

More crunchy good vibes from Bristol’s Joe Arthur (aka Apple Bottom). Bear with me while I gush a little, between Happa and this kid, YOUNGINS’ BEEN TEARIN’ IT UP. It baffles/depresses the hell out of me when I look at my life from an outsider’s perspective then compare it to some of these rugged boy scouts. Ugh, poor me. Anyway, besides experiencing crippling depression, I’m also feeling pretty groovy, but only because Arthur’s new offering, a belligerent remix of A.Z. & TOR’s “Save My Soul” (For some reason marked “Save Our Souls” via AB’s Soundcloud), is unapologetic lightning. Aptly titled “Back2Da90s Refix,” Apple Bottom incorporates some familiar, sepia-toned 90’s percussion from tinny high-hats to a arguably boy band-ish bass strain.
