Bodhi - Emanation

Not able to sleep, I decided to hop on ye olde interweb to check out what I have missed musically in the past 24-48 hours. The first thing I reluctantly stumble upon is this absolute gem. Forthcoming on the one and only, Push and Run label, “Emanation” is but half of the EP crafted by the duo known as Bodhi. Listening to this track at seven in the morning was like jumping out of a learjet, cruising at 530 miles per hour at 41,000 feet, and smashing into the ground in complete comfort. This is due to the fact that in this analogical situation, the ground is made completely of music - which as you know can be molded into the softest substance on earth - thus my survival from such an preposterous fall. Regardless, if you have not gotten the hint, Bodhi has created one of the most addictive, groovy productions of the year thus far in my opinion. I hope with all my being that you have the privilege of hearing this in full on an amazing sound system (or pair of solid headphones) the first time around, and the numerous times after that because it is nothing short of deserving. The remaining half of their forthcoming release, entitled “SY”, is equally as stunning so be sure to check out both tunes via Bodhi’s Soundcloud, and mark your calendars for the September 3rd release of these productions via Push and Run.
