Young and at times arguably over-eager, the house-bubble has burst in a remarkable way, and riding the iridescent tail of its soapy offcuts arrives Brighton’s rugged privateer Tarquin. “Bowl Kut,” Tarquin’s newest and most sloshed offering emanates strikingly rooted house vibes along with a few nods to techno’s down-pitched vocal structures. A contributing member of the brilliant Stray Landings, through the bouncy “Bowl Kut” Tarquin displays his rather impressive multi-modality.
