Yuna - Lullabies (Jim-E Stack Remix)

The chilly grip of fall draws near as the cold waters of the Puget Sound sway to and fro but luckily with the chill arrives winters frigid musical atmosphere, and here to set the festivities out on a sure foot is non-other than UK-Funky extraordinaire, Jim E-Stack. Although Jim E-Stack hasn’t been known for pensive scaling’s in the past, we would suggest that you throw all preconceived notions away before entering this one. Breathy and frost laden, the Frisco native exquisitely offers a cautious remix of Yuna’s tentative soliloquy “Lullabies.” Focusing not only on the vocals but also on cultivating a slinky ambience of a manufactured albeit irresolute love affair, Jim E-Stack manages to tone down his former brazen tactics and culminate a gorgeous and at times sorrow filled production.
